The Advanced Energy portion of the Ohio Job Stimulus plan allocates $150 million towards advanced energy loan awards.  $66 million of the fund is being directed toward clean coal technology projects and $84 million is allocated for non-coal related projects.

The Program is administered through a public process managed by the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority (OAQDA). Funds are awarded to a portfolio of advanced energy projects that serve to attract new investment to Ohio, build upon Ohio’s manufacturing strength, advance energy technology development toward commercialization and prepare Ohio’s workforce for the future.

A complete list of non-coal related eligible projects can be found in the Ohio Revised Code here and here

In general eligible projects will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Employ proven technologies
